After several months of being closed the Walmart on Mumford Road in Halifax has reopened. The store was closed in October after a 19-year-old employee was found deceased inside the store’s walk-in oven. The location was undergoing renovations before the death and while the renovations were halted during the police investigation they began again a few weeks later. Go Rocks newsroom's call to the retail location confirmed the store reopened today. Following an investigation, Halifax Regional Police determined the death of the woman was not suspicious.
